Design for every stage of life

Hearts at Home is a collaborative project by Nana Oldach and Laura Roberts, two Interior Designers with the love and passion to enrich and change lives through the power of design. We believe in giving back to individuals and communities through thoughtful home modifications that create meaningful impact. Our approach centers on designing spaces that are intuitive, accessible, and usable by all—supporting people of every age, size, and ability with dignity and ease.

Nana Taimour Oldach is CAPS certified by the National Association of Home Builders.

Nana Taimour Oldach grew up in a household with a luxury home builder and artist|architect. With 20 years of experience in the A&D community, she has turned a passion and sense for interiors into a dream business, synthesizing her talents as an artist, interior designer and photographer. After studying directing and film production at Boston University, she shifted direction to visual interiors, spending 10 years in New York City where she spent time working with Betty Wasserman, a published interior designer and art consultant specializing in luxury loft spaces and Hamptons beach homes. While still in NYC and later in LA she also led the development and expansion of an exclusive, curated collection of artists’ wallpaper for Maharam, a leading interdisciplinary collaborator, pioneer and provider of textile and wallcovering designs.

In establishing Hearts at Home in her home town of Los Angeles, Nana has found her calling and commitment to helping clients of all abilities balance and elevate their lifestyles at home. Nana continues to hone her skills by collaborating with clients and traveling the world for inspiration and sourcing.

Laura Roberts is a Los Angeles–based residential interior designer specializing in luxury, livable interiors with an emphasis on thoughtful, human-centered design. After relocating to Los Angeles in 2000, Laura spent more than 15 years designing residential interiors and projects worldwide for some of Los Angeles’ most respected architecture and interior design firms. In 2016, she founded Laura Roberts Interiors, where she is known for creating highly personalized environments that balance beauty, function, and longevity.

Laura’s path toward accessible and aging-in-place design became personal as her mother’s health gradually declined, revealing a critical gap in resources for seniors and individuals with disabilities. In co-founding Hearts at Home, Laura found a natural extension of both her professional expertise and lived experience. She is deeply committed to helping seniors and their families create homes that support independence, dignity, and ease—whether aging in place, downsizing, or relocating to a new home—believing that accessibility and luxury should coexist seamlessly at every stage of life.
